Frisco To Hold Second Tryout

FRISCO, Tx. - The Frisco Thunder will hold its second open player tryout on Saturday, January 19 at Legacy Christian Academy, 5000 Academy Drive, Frisco.
Registration will begin at 8 a.m., with workouts following at approximately 9 a.m. The fee is $45 in advance and $50 the day of the event, cash or money order only. Drills will include the 40-yard dash, shuttle drill and position drill before 1-on-1 and 7-on-7 workouts.
"I'm still looking for the best local athletes,'' said Thunder Head Coach Troy Esprit. "The great thing about open tryouts is that you don't know what to expect and what you may find, and we'd love for the local guys to step up and show us what they've got."

The Thunder finished 8-6 and reached the Intense Football League playoffs in its inaugural season.
The Thunder hosts the opening game of the 2008 IFL season on Saturday, March 1st at 6 p.m. against the San Angelo Stampede Express. All home games will be played on the EDS Credit Union Field in the Deja Blue Arena, located in the Frisco Dr Pepper StarCenter. Season and individual tickets are available now at 972-731-6968.
