Frisco Sports Center To Serve As Thunder Ticket Outlet

FRISCO, Tex. - The Frisco Thunder announce that they have partnered with the Frisco Sports Center as a ticket outlet for the Intense Football League team's 2008 season.
Located at 8715 Lebanon Road, Suite 100 , Frisco Sports Center is a neighborhood retail sporting goods store stocked with a wide variety of athletic apparel and gear. The 10-year old business recently moved to its new location, and will carry Thunder merchandise for the upcoming season.
"Partnering with the Frisco Thunder allows us an opportunity to serve the community of Frisco in a new and different way," said Frisco Sports Center Owner/President Laurie Mullins. "We are thrilled to be a part of the second exciting season of Frisco Thunder football. Frisco Sports Center is a business with a desire to serve the youth sports needs of our community and the surrounding area. Frisco Thunder has the same desire to support the youth of our community, while bringing excitement and entertainment in sports. We expect the community of Frisco to benefit tremendously from the partnership of our organizations"
Having an additional ticket outlet in the heart of the city should benefit both the store and the Thunder according to Director of Ticket Sales Toby Atkins.
"We expect the exposure to generate interest and excitement for the team," Atkins said. " In turn, we hope our fans of become valued customers of Frisco Sports Center . The store is valued member of the Frisco community, and we are extremely excited about partnering up with them for the season."
The Thunder hosts the opening game of the 2008 IFL season on Saturday, March 1st at 6 p.m. against the San Angelo Stampede Express. All home games will be played on the EDS Credit Union Field in the Deja Blue Arena, located in the Frisco Dr Pepper StarCenter. Season and individual tickets are available now at 972-731-6968.
