Fresno Fuego's Chaney Tops Fifth Edition of 2016 PDL Top Prospects

TAMPA, Fla. - Fresno Fuego forward Christian Chaney takes the top slot in the fifth edition of the 2016 PDL Top Prospects list after scoring 13 goals and providing one assist in 12 regular season games.
Chaney led the Fuego to a Central Pacific Division title, and the club will play Burlingame Dragons FC in a Western Conference Championship play-in game at 10 p.m. ET on Tuesday (Watch Live).
Lander University's Hugo Delhommelle rose the highest in this edition of the Top Prospects list, scoring three goals for Reading United AC, which will play in an Eastern Conference Championship play-in game at 7 p.m. ET on Tuesday (Watch Live).
Sounders FC U23's Paul Christensen, who plays for the University of Portland, is the second-highest rated goalkeeper behind Valparaiso University's Nico Campbell. Wright State University's Eric Lynch is the final new face inside the Top 20, scoring six goals and providing six assists in 13 games for the Dayton Dutch Lions during the regular season.
More than 20 scouts across North America provide the PDL with valuable insight on players who are performing at the highest level within the league, possess strong technical and tactical qualities and have the potential to play at the professional level. The Top Prospects list serves as a useful resource for professional clubs who are interested in identifying and scouting high-level performers.
The PDL will be updating the Top Prospects list throughout the 2016 season.
