Freedom sign two more

Fort Wayne, IN--The Fort Wayne Freedom of the National Indoor Football League announced today the re-signing of two of the their most important players on defense - CB/S Andre Brooks and CB/S Alan Ganaway.

Ganaway, a rookie last season from Harding High School and the University of Saint Francis, led the Freedom with 8 interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown. In 13 games, including playoffs, Ganaway, 2003 NAIA Defensive back of the Year, had 39 solo tackles and 20 assists. He was 9th in the league.

Brooks, an original member of the Freedom, hails from Eastern Michigan. He had 40 tackles and 40 assists with 5 interceptions, ranking 4th in the League in passes defended.

"Two more key members of our defensive unit have committed to stay in Fort Wayne and prepare for the 2005 season", said Richard Coffey, team President. "The smell of football is in the air and we excited about the 2005 season already."
