Tinton Falls, N.J. - Sky Blue FC (2-2-1, 7 points) of the National Women's Soccer League has officially added forward Leah Galton to its roster, making the British international available for action this Saturday when the team plays a road fixture against the Western New York Flash (2-3-0, 6 points). Concurrent to the addition of Galton, Sky Blue FC has placed forward Danielle Schulmann on the 45-day disabled list after she suffered a right thigh strain during training last week.

Galton, 21, joins Sky Blue FC after finishing up her college education this past weekend at Hofstra University. She was acquired by Sky Blue FC after the team made her the no. 13 overall pick in the 2016 NWSL College Draft in January. The 2015 MAC Hermann Trophy semifinalist registered 122 points while at Hofstra, a program record. Her 48 goals were second most in school history, and the 26 assists on her college resume are tied for most ever in the Pride record books. A native of Harrogate, England, Galton earned Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Player of the Year accolades for the past three consecutive years, the only player in CAA history to do so.

Prior to her injury, Schulmann played in three matches for Sky Blue FC, registering 42 minutes of action and one shot on goal. The Saddle River, N.J., native was originally acquired by Sky Blue FC by coming through the team's open tryouts in March.

Sky Blue FC is now on the road for its next two contests, beginning against the Western New York Flash at Sahlen's Stadium in Rochester on Saturday night. The team, which is currently riding a five-game unbeaten streak on the road, will then travel to the Chicago Red Stars before returning home to Yurcak Field on June 11th to host FC Kansas City at 7:00 p.m. Tickets for that match are available now.
