
Former Mohawks Hot at Mississippi State & Wake Forest

Two former Mohawks have been off to torrid starts to the college baseball season in 2013. DeMarcus Henderson of Mississippi State, a 2011 and 2012 Mohawk, and Evan Stephens of Wake Forest, a 2012 member of the Mohawks have been major contributors to their respective teams' early success.
Henderson, a 2B/OF for the Mohawks for two seasons has been the starting right fielder for the 12-0 and 10th ranked Bulldogs. Thus far on the season, DeMarcus is hitting .385 (10 for 26). Stephens, meanwhile, was a centerfielder for the Mohawks last season and is the leadoff hitter for Wake Forest. He is hitting a stout .471 (16 for 34) for the 8-3 Demon Deacons.
