
Former Magicians Goalie Ivan Prosvetov Called up to NHL

Former Minnesota Magicians goaltender Ivan Prosvetov was called up the the NHL this past Sunday, January 5th by Arizona Coyotes General Manager John Chayka. The rookie netminder was called up from the Tucson Roadrunners, the Coyotes American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate team where he holds a .931 save percentage through 15 games, the 3rd best in the league.
Prosvetov dressed in 44 games for the Minnesota Magicians during the 2016-2017 season, posting a .928 save percentage and 2.52 Goals allowed.
He was shortly thereafter drafted in the fourth round by the Coyotes (114th overall) in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft.
