Former LSU Player Joins Bucs

LAKE CHARLES LA. - The Louisiana Swashbucklers brings to the team a member of the 2003 national champion LSU Tigers. Terrell McGill played for LSU from 2002 - 2005 and was on the offensive line alternating between guard and tackle. He was one of the top prospects in Florida coming out of high school. In his sophomore year (2003) he saw action on 268 plays of which 41 was on special teams.

As an upperclassman McGill was both a starter and a backup on the offensive line. As a senior he played a total of 335 snaps from scrimmage with six pins and 31 knockdowns. He had 10 knockdowns in consecutive games against Ole Miss and Arkansas. He started in five of LSU's final six games in 2004 at left guard. After leaving LSU McGill joined the Grand Rapids Rampage of the Arena Football League. He was a starter in the tackle position.
