
Former Ice Players Rack Up Awards

INDIANAPOLIS, IN- The Indiana Ice announced today that former goaltender Cody Reichard (Miami) and defenseman Eddie Del Grosso (UNO) were named to the All-CCHA First Team.
Reichard, who played parts of two seasons with the Ice, posted a phenomenal 15-0-2 record in conference play and led all league netminders in GAA (1.23) and save percentage (.950). The sophomore goaltender was a member of Miami's 2009 NCAA Runner-up squad and his second-ranked RedHawks host Ohio State this weekend in the quarterfinals of the 2010 CCHA Tournament.
Del Grosso played two years for the Ice and is the team's top scoring defenseman in franchise history. The senior blueliner finished his Mavericks career as their leading scorer this season while also becoming UNO's top-scoring defenseman in school history. Del Grosso and his teammates battle Ferris State in the CCHA quarterfinals this weekend.
