
Former Gladiator joins the CBA

Another former World Basketball Association player has moved on to the eight-team, seven-state Continental Basketball Association.
Richard Jeter, a 6-foot-6, 215-pound guard, averaged 4.1 points per game during eight games with the Rome (Ga.) Gladiators in the inaugural WBA season. On Monday, Jeter, 21, signed with the Idaho Stampede of the CBA. This will be Jeter's second stint in the CBA as he was in training camp with the Dakota Wizards.
The 2003 Georgia JUCO Player of the Year, Jeter averaged 22.2 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists at Atlanta Metropolitan Junior College.
Ezra Williams, who played with the Southern Crescent (Peachtree City, Ga.) Lightning this past WBA season, plays for the Great Lakes (Mich.) Storm.
