Former Danbury Titan Heads to NHL Summer Camp

Danbury Titans News Release
The Federal Hockey League is all about developing players for a future professional career. It has been successful in doing so over the years sending players to the AHL and ECHL. However, one FHL player has made his way to the NHL level as former Danbury Titans goaltender Jonah Imoo is currently attending the prospect development camp of the Los Angeles Kings.
Prospect development camps are held every summer by NHL teams as a sort of orientation for young players to find out what is expected of them by the NHL organization and allow players who have not been drafted a chance to show some of their abilities. Camps usually include an organization's draft picks as well as invites to players whose NHL rights are not held by another team. Jonah is one of four goalies in camp with the Kings.
Jonah was acquired from the Port Huron Prowlers later in the season. He did not play any games for the Titans due to an injury. In two games with the Port Huron Prowlers, Imoo had a 3.19 goals against average and a .937 save percentage.
