Baltimore Brigade News Release
BALTIMORE, MD - The Baltimore Brigade host the defending champions Washington Valor on Friday, April 26 at 7 p.m., as the two interstate rivals meet for a rematch of last season's ArenaBowl Championship game. Former Baltimore Ravens Super Bowl champion, Jacoby Jones will serve as honorary team captain and will be signing autographs from 6:00 to 6:30 p.m.
Jones joined the Ravens in 2012 and played three seasons in Baltimore. During Super Bowl XLVII, Jones played a crucial role in the Ravens' victory after he caught a 56-yard touchdown pass and then returned the opening kickoff of the second half for a 108-yard touchdown, a then Super Bowl record. Jones and Brigade quarterback Shane Boyd spent time on the Houston Texans together.
The first 2,500 fans in attendance on Friday will receive a 2019 Brigade season schedule magnet. In addition, there will be various concourse activations such as face painting, a photobooth, and a quarterback toss available for fans to enjoy. Following the game, there will be a post-game on field autograph session for 30 minutes.
