Former Badger, UW-LaCrosse and Milwaukee Mustang Greats Gathering Sunday in Waukesha

Former Wisconsin Badger quarterbacks Tyler Donovan and Matt Schabert are among a handful of current Milwaukee Iron players who are gathering to watch and talk football on the flat screens at a free event Sunday December 14 at 11am at Neighbors Social Club in Downtown Waukesha.

Former University of Wisconsin LaCrosse Quarterback Shane Adler, Kenosha native and arena veteran Jamaine "Coco" Blalock and Milwaukee native and former Cleveland Brown and Seattle Seahawk Antoine Burns are also attending the Milwaukee Iron fan party at the Social Club.

Arena football's original Iron Man, former Milwaukee Mustang and current Iron Head Coach and Director of Football Operations Gary Compton is bringing the players together so fans can interact, take photos and if they wish, buy season tickets.

"It's sort of a try us before you buy us concept. Fans can talk with players and coach Compton about football and decide their level of interest in the Iron before spending $99 or whatever they like on season tickets," said Iron General Manager Steve Meulemans.

The Iron are laying out free snacks, putting the Sunday football games on the flat screens and hosting the fan event with the players. Fans have the opportunity to purchase Iron merchandise,CastIron fan club memberships and spend time hanging with their team. Everyone connected with the Iron who is attending this event is available to the media at Neighbors Social Club on Sunday.

Neighbors Social Club is at 260 West Main Street in Downtown Waukesha. The free party begins at 11am Sunday, December 14 and runs all afternoon. The football games are being show on the flat screens at Neighbors Social Club. Admisison is free.
