Force Sign QB Fortis for 2016 Season

WICHITA, Kan. - The Wichita Force announced today that team secured its second QB with the signing of rookie Charles Fortis.

A native of San Bernardino, Cali. and recent graduate of Point University, Forits will make his professional debut with the Force in the team's upcoming season.

"I am excited for this opportunity to become a member of such a great organization," Fortis said. "I am thankful to Coach Martine and Mr. Soliday for this opportunity. I am looking forward to contributing and bringing the city of Wichita another championship. 2016 is going to be a very special season for this team and our fans. I don't expect anything less."

In his senior season with the Skyhawks, Fortis finished the season with 2,817 passing yards and 32 touchdowns on 215 completed passes. He averaged 256.1 passing yards per game during the 2015 season. Fortis also recorded 99 net rushing yards and four touchdowns for the Skyhawks. He earned Sun Conference Player of the Year, First Team USA College All American and First Team All-Conference.
