Force Reveal 2012 Schedule

Duluth, GA (October 4, 2011) - Force coaches, players, and fans have been envisioning a 2012 ArenaBowl run since the final horn sounded in Jacksonville last month. That vision became clearer on Tuesday. The Force learned the path they will take to ArenaBowl XXV as the Arena Football League released its 2012 schedule.
Key dates for the Force include a playoff rematch against Cleveland in the home opener on Monday, March 12, and visits to The Arena at Gwinnett Center from each of last year's ArenaBowl participants, Arizona (April 29) and Jacksonville (June 9).
"It'll be an electric atmosphere all season long, starting with the opener [against Cleveland]," said Force president Cory Howerton. "Monday night is football night. To be able to open the season on a Monday night with a playoff rematch, it gives you chills just thinking about it."
Other home opponents include Philadelphia, Chicago, and Pittsburgh, in addition to the customary dates with divisional foes Tampa Bay, Jacksonville, New Orleans, and Orlando. The road schedule will see the Force traveling to Pittsburgh, Milwaukee, Kansas City, Chicago, and Utah, in addition to the divisional contests. The team's bye weeks fall in weeks four and 18.
