Fomer Tech star, Shawn Jones QB in Gwizzlies Tryout Camp

The ABA Gwinnett Gwizzlies Tryout camp for the Kentucky Summer Pro League Tournament will conclude today from 1:30 to 3:45 at the Suwanee Sports academy. One of the highlights of the camp has been former Tech star QB, and former New York Knicks, Atlanta Hawks guard Shawn Jones.

The Gwizzlies coaching staff have been impressed with Jones workout and will invite him to play in the Kentucky Tournament.

6"8 Noah Shell of Brookwood High school continues to be impresses also. But the surprise free agent of the two day camp has been 6"6 Ian Hanovan who had just finish playing in Holland. As the July 10-17 NBA Long Beach Summer Pro League approaches the following Gwizzlies ballplayers will be among the starting five: 6"3 Guard Ardrell Hoard, 6"8 guard Sam Cox, 6"6 small foward Ian Hanovan, power foward 7"0 Ned Rolsma and center 7"4 John Flippen.
