GREENVILLE, S.C., November 1 – National Basketball Development League fans unable to make it to their local draft party on Friday need not wait until the nightly news or the Saturday morning newspaper to find out what players were selected by their favorite team in the fourth annual NBDL Draft. All they need to do is log on to NBDL.com for up to the minute draft coverage.

Starting Friday at 6:30 p.m. ET, fans will be able to listen live to the draft via streaming audio on NBDL.com. NBA assistant director of scouting Ryan Blake and NBDL director of basketball operations and player personnel Chris Alpert will offer selection-by-selection commentary.

The 10-round selection process can be followed round-by-round on the NBDL.com Draft Board. When the draft is complete, summaries featuring the commentary of Blake and Alpert will be posted on the site, as well as complete bios of the players selected.

The draft will be conducted via conference call hookup between NBDL draft headquarters at the Holiday Inn Airport North in Atlanta and the six NBDL markets.

Following are draft headquarter locations for each NBDL team. The locations are listed in draft order, which is a reversal of the 2003-04 final regular season standings.

The league offers players the opportunity to develop their talent in a highly competitive atmosphere under the NBA's umbrella. Twenty-eight (28) players have been called up the NBA on 39 separate occasions. Nine former NBDL coaches, five athletic trainers, 11 referees and 29 front office executives have also been called up since the start of the league's inaugural season in November 2001.

Designed to help grow the sport of basketball both domestically and internationally, the league also offers fun, family entertainment at affordable prices. The NBDL is a source of on-court talent for the NBA's 30 teams and is a diverse human resources pool for the NBA and its teams by training employees in management, operations, public relations, sales and marketing positions.
