Floyd closing in on tackles record

NEW YORK - Colorado Crush (10-5) DS RASHAD FLOYD has 126.0 total tackles this season and can set a new AFL single-season record with eight more stops against the Arizona Rattlers (8-7) in Friday's regular-season finale at Pepsi Center in Denver. The current record of 133.5 total tackles was set last season by DS DAMON MASON, who spent nine games with Grand Rapids and nine games with Orlando.

Floyd, who was named ADT Defensive Player of the Week for Weeks 10-11 this year, already holds the second- and fourth-highest single-season tackle totals having recorded 129.5 in 2005 and 123.0 in 2004.
