
Flight Claims G Larry Reid

GREENVILLE, S.C., April 1 â The Huntsville Flight has claimed guard Larry Reid from the NBDL available player pool to fill the vacancy created when Mateen Cleaves signed a 10-day contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers March 29.
NBDL director of basketball operations Chris Alpert said that Reid is expected to be in uniform for coach Ralph Lewis' team when the Flight visits Asheville Saturday. He will wear jersey #13.
An NBDL journeyman that played collegiately at Kansas State ('02), Reid played for Charleston, Roanoke and Mobile last season, helping lead Mobile to the 2003 NBDL championship. Over 32 regular season games he averaged 16.2 minutes, 5.8 points, 2.2 assists and 1.9 rebounds. In five postseason games for the Revelers he averaged 23.2 minutes, 6.2 points, 3.4 assists and 1.6 rebounds.
