ROANOKE, Va. - Bracey Wright scored a game-high 22 points, 11 in each half, to lead the Florida Flame to a 98-78 victory over the Roanoke Dazzle at the Roanoke Civic Center.
The game was close at the half with the Flame holding a one point edge 37-36, but opened the 3rd quarter with a 21-5 run to open it up.
"We played our best game of the season," said Flame coach Jeff Malone. "We hung around in the first half and went through them defensively in the third quarter."
Wright led four Flame players in double figures being joined by Hirum Fuller and Theron Smith who both had double-doubles with 19 points, 11 rebounds and 15 points, 10 rebounds respectively. Andre Barrett chipped in with 16 points.
The Dazzle were held to their lowest point output of the season with the 78 point total.
"We just never responded in the 3rd quarter," said Dazzle coach Kent Davison. "We just turned it over up and down the floor."
The Dazzle had four players reach double figures with Peter Ramos leading the way with 14 points before being ejected in the fourth quarter after receiving his second technical foul. Andray Blatche and Will Bynum both had 12 points and Andreas Glyniadakis contributed 10 to the Dazzle cause.
