(PORT HURON, MICH.) - The Port Huron Flags are offering several ways to save on tickets this weekend, when they play games on Friday and Saturday night, at 7:30 p.m.
With the opening weekend of hunting season starting, there are sure to be plenty of women whose men have packed up their weapons and headed out. All hunters' widows can receive $3 off their ticket at the door, on both nights. Those interested in planning a Ladies Night may contact the front office at (810) 982-FLAG to get the group discount of $4 off each ticket.
On Friday, while the Flags face off against the Flint Generals on the ice, the University of Michigan Wolverines football team will be gearing up for what is being referred to as "THE Game", against the Ohio State University Buckeyes. The Maize and Blue, currently ranked number two in the national polls, will travel to Columbus, Ohio, to take on the number one Buckeyes in the last game of the regular season. Show your support for either team by wearing collegiate colors or apparel and receive $3 off your ticket at the door. Intermission entertainment will include a competition between an OSU and a U-M fan for a fabulous prize. Additionally, the United Way, in cooperation with the employees of the city of Port Huron will be raising money at Friday's game with a 50/50 raffle.
Saturday night is Biker Night, giving motorcycle drivers and fans dressed in leather a $3 discount off an at-the-door purchase. The Bloomington PrairieThunder will be in town, pitting former Flags Ryan Gillis, Jeff Cameron and Brad Bonello against their old team for the first time.
Next Wednesday, Nov. 22, is School Night. Show your student ID at the door to receive $3 off your ticket. The ever-popular Turkey Bowling will be back, in celebration of Thanksgiving. On the ice, the team plays the Kalamazoo Wings, with the puck dropping at 7 p.m.
