Port Huron Flags News Release
(PORT HURON, MICH.) - Members of the Port Huron Flags will extend their talents beyond the ice tonight, when they invade the Huron Athletic Club, following their game against Muskegon, to dole out special drinks to fans and customers.
Captain Greg Bullock, along with defensemen BJ Adams, John Doherty, Josh Vanderbreggen and Shayne Tomlinson will mind the rail at the HAC from 10 to 11 p.m. Special drink prices will be offered, including $2 domestic draft beers and $1 shots of Pucker. The first 100 takers will receive a commemorative Flags shot glass as a souvenir of the evening.
This promotion is part of the Fury Frenzy, a package that offers fans a half-price ticket to next week's Wednesday match-up against the Muskegon Fury, with the purchase of a ticket for tonight's contest at regular price. Flags members will be back in the bartending action after the game on Mar. 21, as well.
On the frozen floor, the puck drops at 7 p.m. against the Fury. In the teams' last meeting, the Flags took a 3-1 road victory over the league leaders. Down to their last 15 games of the season, Port Huron will look to continue its post-season push.
The Port Huron Flags are a community owned, nonprofit member club of the United Hockey League. For more information on the 2006-07 season, contact the front office at (810) 982-3524 or visit the website at www.porthuronflags.net.
