
First Place Pride to Host Second Place Independence Saturday, July 17

Hayward, CA (July 13, 2010) - FC Gold Pride (9-3-1) hopes to make it win number three in a row this Saturday, at Pioneer Stadium, with a match against second place Philadelphia Independence (6-4-3).
FC Gold Pride will be playing the Philadelphia Independence for the second time this season. The last time they met was June 13th in West Chester, Pennsylvania, and they came away with a 3-1 win.
Sunday's match will be the final WPS game for the Pride's Solveig Gulbrandsen, who will be returning home to Norway to be closer to her family and begin a career outside of soccer. At home, she will start a career working for an automotive sales agency, as well as continue to play for the Norwegian National Team and the Norwegian club Stabaek IF.
