Acadiana Cane Cutters News Release
Weather hasn't been kind to Fabacher Field and the Cane Cutters this week, but we hope to get in our game tonight and tomorrow night against the Alexandria Aces. Tonight (Friday) is Fireworks Friday and as usual, each Friday night after the Cane Cutter game - a Fireworks display is shot from the outfield.
This Saturday is LSU NIGHT at Fabacher Field - we are asking all LSU fans to wear purple/gold and show their school pride while supporting the Cane Cutters. New LSU pitching Coach Alan Dunn will throw out the ceremonial first pitch!
The Cane Cutters also have a new addition to the team for "ONE GAME ONLY"! Signed as a former Rebel from Ole Miss, George Faust of Duson, LA will be in the starting lineup Saturday night as the Designated Hitter for the Cane Cutters (whether he hits or not is yet to be determined)!!!
