Firebirds to Hold Tryouts

Georgia Firebirds News Release
The Georgia Firebirds will hold an open tryout on Saturday, Dec. 19th at the James H. Gray Civic Center in Albany, GA beginning at 9:00 a.m. The tryout will begin with registration and check-ins, which require a Photo ID.
Team player personnel and coaches will be testing players on a variety of football related skills.
The tryout will consist of testing including: the 40-yard dash, 20-yard shuttle, bench press and L-drill. Position and one-on-one drills will also be tested for each position.
Participants must bring their own shoes for positional drills and tennis shoes for artificial and hard surface testing.
The James H. Gray Civic Center is located at 100 W Oglethorpe Blvd, Albany, GA 31701.
