[FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.] – The South East Hockey League (SEHL) announced today that Bruce Watson will be ineligible to play during the first round of the 2004 SEHL Playoffs due to a suspension. Watson, a 6'2" 227 pound forward from Pembroke, Ontario recently joined the FireAntz on March 5th. Watson has played six games for Cape Fear and tallied three points and 92 penalty minutes.

The suspension of Watson stems from the incident on Joel Bresciani of Huntsville during the March 14th game. According to medical reports, Bresciani will be unable to play as of today and will be re-evaluated on March 29th. Watson will remain suspended indefinitely until Bresciani is re-evaluated later in the month.
