EVANSVILLE, IN: Do you have an old cell phone sitting around the house? You can help the BlueCats Booster Club by donating your old cell phones and ink jet cartridges. The Evansville BlueCats Booster Club will be having a Phoneraiser and ink jet cartridge fundraiser from November 14th to December 23rd.
Cell phones contain a large number of hazardous chemicals, which can leak into soil and groundwater when buried in landfills or pollute the air when burned in incinerators. One cell phone can pollute up to 132,000 liters of water! Many of you may be purchasing a new cell phone for the holidays. Here is an opportunity to responsibly dispose of your old phone and empty ink jet cartridges and help the FinHeads raise funds for the upcoming 2006 season.
It's easy to participate! Phones and empty cartridges can be dropped off at the BlueCats Office Complex located at 815 John Street Suite 150 near downtown Evansville. You can also contact Mike Horn at 423-2750 for a donation pick up!
Fans are also encouraged to sign up or renew their membership in the Evansville BlueCats Booster Club. Become a FinHead! The FinHeads take part in several BlueCats related events during the season including road game tailgate parties, the bye week cookout, bus trips to select road games, and so much more! Season tickets are also available at the Evansville BlueCats office located at 815 John Street Suite 150 in Evansville. The first 500 fans to buy season tickets or field level boxes for the upcoming indoor football season will receive a free Evansville BlueCats Football t-shirt.
