
Finalists for awards announced

NEW YORK - The Arena Football League today announced the five finalists for its three most prestigious individual player awards.
The 2006 AFL ADT Defensive Player of the Year will be announced on Tuesday, May 30 with the Offensive Player of the Year and U.S. Army Ironman of the Year following on Wednesday, May 31 and Thursday, June 1, respectively. All award winners will be announced live on ESPNews. The final AFL award winner to be revealed will be the Al Lucas Hero Award winner on Wednesday, June 7.
The finalists for the 2006 AFL Offensive, ADT Defensive and U.S. Army Ironman of the Year honors are (in alphabetical order):
