Final Stretch' Playoff for Bisons Begins Wednesday at Sahlen Field

With a Northeast Division Championship already in the books, the Buffalo Bisons will set their sites on bringing home some more accolades with the start of Triple-A's 'Final Stretch' Playoff on Wednesday at Sahlen Field.

The Herd will host the Lehigh Valley IronPigs in Buffalo, September 22-26, as part of this all-new 10-game postseason tournament that will include all 30 Triple-A clubs, not just the teams from Triple-A East. MLB announced that the club that finishes the 10-game stretch with the best record will win a special prize... and that means every game counts!

What it also means is we get to have some more fun at Sahlen Field this season, including one last weekend at the ballpark. Here's your chance to enjoy one of the best teams in our franchise history and to only have to pay $10 per ticket. -Dog Day at the Ballpark: All dogs are allowed in for free. Fans with pups should enter through the Seneca St. Gate

-ROOKIE Bat Dog Appearance: Help us welcome our teammate from Trenton! Rookie, the official Bat Dog of the Trenton Thunder, will help his Bisons teammates by retrieving bats early in the game!

-Win-It Wednesday: If the Bisons win this game, your ticket stub will be good for a buy-one, get-one ticket to either the Saturday, Sept. 25 or Sunday, Sept. 26 games this weekend.

Thursday, Sept. 23 | 6:05 p.m.

-A Snacker's Delight: Enjoy $2 nachos and $2 peanuts throughout the game.

Friday, Sept. 24 | 6:05 p.m.

-Fan Appreciation Night: A Bisons end of season tradition. We'll have great giveaways throughout the game and hand out our end of season player awards

-Tyler's Amazing Balancing Act: Tyler makes his return trip to Sahlen Field to wow us again with his amazing balancing skills!

-Kids Run the Bases: As our final afternoon game of the season, kids will be allowed onto the field postgame to run the bases!

-The Seasons of Buffalo Baseball Book Signing -editor Jim Overfield will be at the ballpark to sign copies of the recently published, 'The Seasons of Buffalo Baseball, 1857-2020,' the chronicles the amazing history of baseball in our city.

Sunday, Sept. 26 | 6:05 p.m.

-The final game of the 2021 season. Enjoy one last taste of Bisons baseball before the team leaves on it's season-ending roadtrip.
