McGrath Shines In 2-1 Dashers Win

By Easton Hoskins

Dalton McGrath was the story of the night for the Danville Dashers, stopping 49 of the 50 shots he saw. McGrath stood on his head late for Danville, as the Port Huron Prowlers had three power plays in the final 10 minutes of the contest.

Justin Brausen and A.J. Tesoriero both lit the lamp for Danville, with Brausens being short handed. Brausen showed off his silky mitts on his goal, weaving his way through three Prowlers defenders before dekeing Curtis Martinu into submission.

The Dashers had 17 penalty minutes on seven infractions, to the Prowlers 23 minutes on five infractions.

Mattias Erikson put the lone puck past Dalton McGrath, on a shot the McGrath never saw through the screen.

Danville and Port Huron are back in action Friday, in Port Huron at 7:05 pm.
