Fever Tip off Five-Game Trip in Atlanta
Published on August 15, 2026 under Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA)
Indiana Fever News Release
The Fever are back in action on Sunday to take on the Dream in Atlanta after defeating the Dallas Wings on Friday. Indiana has won three straight, and eight of its last 10 games heading into Atlanta.
Last time out the Dream handled the Connecticut Sun, 104-69. Both Allisha Gray and Rhyne Howard notched 29 points in the outing, and were Atlanta's only two players to score in double figures. Gray and Howard have led the Dream in scoring all season as they average a combined 37 points per game.
Atlanta is 8-2 in its last 10 contests, but played just three teams in the top-8 of the WNBA's standings over that span. The Dream beat the Wings, lost to the Aces, and lost to the Washington Mystics. The Dream are currently fifth in the league's overall standings as they pursue postseason positioning down the stretch of the regular season.
Indiana sits in fourth place following its matchup with Dallas on Friday. The Dream lead the season series with the Fever, 2-1, heading into the final regular season meeting between the two teams on Sunday. A tied head-to-head record could impact playoff positioning for both teams as the regular season winds down, making Sunday's matchup in Atlanta a critical game for the Fever.
Indiana has all the momentum it needs - Kelsey Mitchell has scored 20 or more points in 18 straight games, Caitlin Clark is putting up historic offensive performances, Ty Harris knocked down a career-high five 3-pointers on Friday, and Aliyah Boston recorded her 10th double double of the season.
The Fever own the WNBA's best offense, and take it to Atlanta in pursuit of a fourth consecutive win on Sunday.
