Federal Hockey League Taking Nominations for Man of the Year Award

The Federal Hockey League is proud to announce that in its 5th season it will recognize a player for his off-the-ice community involvement in the FHL Man of the Year Award.

The inspiration for this award comes from the countless stories from within the FHL cities about players making a difference within their communities.

Over the years there have been dozens of heart-warming and touching stories about FHL players who have made a difference with fans and families across the league geography. From meeting fans at the arenas - to school appearances, hospital visits, soup kitchens, firehouses, FHL players make a difference.

Now is the time to salute them. We are asking our fans to please submit their nominations through the league website on the Man of the Year submission form.

The inaugural FHL Man of the Year will be announced during the opening week of the league playoffs.

The Class-A Level professional Federal Hockey League is in its 5th season of operation has teams located in Danbury (CT), Berkshire (MA), Watertown (NY), Steel City (PA), Dayton (OH), and Danville (IL). In its history, over 500,000 fans have watched FHL hockey and the league has promoted over 200 players to the next level.
