
FC Kansas City Wraps up 2015 Preseason on Saturday

PRAIRIE VILLAGE, KS. (April 2, 2015) - Only four days after defeating the Kansas Jayhawks at the Rock Chalk Park, FC Kansas City will wrap up the 2015 preseason with two forty-five minute matches against the Missouri Tigers and the Iowa State Cyclones at the Lou Fusz Complex in Maryland Heights, Missouri on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. CT.
Fans are encouraged to attend the free and open to the public matches. However, if not available to make the trip, live updates can be followed on Twitter at @BluesGameday.
Head coach Vlatko Andonovski's team will play the first half against the Iowa State Cyclones, while the Missouri Tigers hit the field for the second half.
Later that day, the entire FC Kansas City team will head to Busch Stadium to watch teammates Amy Rodriguez, Lauren Holiday, Heather O'Reilly, Becky Sauerbrunn and the U.S. Women's Soccer National Team take on New Zealand in preparation for the 2015 World Cup.
FC Kansas City will kick off the 2015 National Women's Soccer League season on Sunday, April 12th at Sporting Park when they host Sky Blue FC at 3:00 p.m. CT. Great tickets are still available and can be purchased by calling 855.4KC.GOAL.
