
FC Kansas City Partners with Verizon Wireless

Prairie village, Kan (May 17, 2013) - FC Kansas City of the National Women's Soccer League announced today a two-year partnership with Verizon Wireless. The Blues' playing field at Shawnee Mission North District Stadium, home to some of the top professional women soccer players in the world, is now officially named Verizon Wireless Field.
Two great brands - Verizon Wireless, a leading provider of innovative and value-driven wireless services - and FC Kansas City, one of the hottest teams in the newly-formed NWSL, have many great things in store for soccer fans this season and beyond. Aside from the field naming rights, Verizon Wireless will have their very own Verizon Wireless Night at an upcoming FC Kansas City home game, plus Verizon and the Blues will collaborate on a number of charitable events throughout the Kansas City area.
