June 19, 2016 - National Women's Soccer League (NWSL)
FC Kansas City News Release
KANSAS CITY - Riding a two-game unbeaten streak, FC Kansas City continues its road trip against the Houston Dash at BBVA Compass Stadium. The game will start at 7:30 p.m. CT on Sunday and will be live streamed on the National Women's Soccer League's YouTube channel.
The Blues and Dash already met once this year and Houston won 2-1 with goals from Chioma Ubogagu and Denise O'Sullivan.
Since then, FC Kansas City has started to find a rhythm with results in three of their next four matches. Houston, on the other hand, has lost three in-a-row.
Yael Averbuch and Shea Groom currently lead the Blues with two goals each. Erika Tymrak is the club's only other goal scorer. Tymrak, Heather O'Reilly and Katie Bowen have each recorded an assist.
The Dash have two former Blues on their team in Melissa Henderson and Becca Moros. Henderson has not yet played, but Moros has played every minute of the six games she started.
