EDMONTON, Ab - Five points out of top slot and three games to play - not to mention a bye-week in the final week; that's what FC Edmonton's final weeks of the NASL Spring Season look like. They start off this three week sprint to the finish this Sunday at Clarke Stadium against the Carolina RailHawks at 2pm MT.

The RailHawks (4-3-1) are currently atop the league with 15 points and only one loss to their name. The Eddies (2-4-3) are in fifth place with 10 points and will not be mathematically eliminated from a first place finish until after this weekend's results. The only way to stay in the fight for the finish is with a win over Carolina - a loss or a tie would see FC Edmonton lose out on the chance to host the Soccer Bowl final in Edmonton in November. Former Eddie Paul Hamilton will return to the city for the first time since moving to Carolina in pre-season and is looking forward to playing against some familiar faces.

"I had a few great years [in Edmonton], still have many friends on the team and within the organization. My wife, and also many friends and family are going to be at the game," said Hamilton in preparation for the game on Sunday.

Chris Nurse, who spent some time under Martin Rennie's Carolina RailHawks - will not be available for the game due to a red-card suspension and coach Colin Miller will be forced to do some team shuffling in midfield.

There is no doubt that FC Edmonton defender and captain Albert Watson will be starting after last week's game against Atlanta. Despite having his two front teeth knocked out, the Eddie captain will continue in his place at the heart of the FC Edmonton backline. "You can't say this team isn't tough," Miller joked. "We have one goal in mind and that's to win in front of a home crowd and keep fighting for that Soccer Bowl finish."

Clarke Stadium will be buzzing on Sunday has it will most likely hold the team's largest crowd of the season. The game day experience will include a salute to the soccer dad, a cheque presentation to Xtreme FC - who sold tickets to the game as a club fundraiser, as well as plenty other family friendly activities. The game will be broadcast live on The Score (2:00 pm MT) and online streaming will only be available outside of Canada at www.fcedmonton.com.
