FC Edmonton Re-Signs Antony Caceres

EDMONTON, AB - FC Edmonton has re-signed midfielder Antony Caceres, the club announced today.

The re-signing comes after the club made the decision to exercise its option to retain Caceres, in accordance with the terms of his 2020 contract.

The 5'8" and 150-pound Midfielder is a product of the FC Edmonton U20 Academy.

Caceres came through the FC Edmonton Academy program prior to joining Vancouver Whitecaps FC residency program. He returned to the Edmonton Academy after a couple of seasons in Vancouver. Caceres played his youth soccer with Edmonton Juventus, and signed his first professional contract in 2020.

Caceres, who is 20 years old, was on the Eddies roster at the Island Games where he logged 247 minutes in seven appearances for the club.
