FC Edmonton Announces New GM

EDMONTON, AB - FC Edmonton has hired Eric Newendorp as the club's President and General Manager, club owners Tom Fath and Dave Fath announced today.

In his career Newendorp has spent time in Major League Soccer (MLS), the United Soccer League (USL), and the North American Soccer League (NASL). He most-recently served as Vice President of Sales and Analytics for the Tulsa Drillers, the double-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers, and in this same capacity for the Tulsa Roughnecks of the USL (now FC Tulsa) within the same organization.

"We're very excited to welcome Eric to the club" Tom Fath said. "He brings an incredible range of experience in this industry to our organization, and we are confident he will provide the exact kind of leadership we need to get us where we want to be and help the team reach our goals, both on and off the pitch."
