Fans to Vote for AFL Awards

NEW YORK â For the first time in history, AFL fans will contribute towards selecting League award winners by voting online. Visitors to the League's official Web site â www.arenafootball.com â can vote for the AFL's ADT Defensive Player of the Year, Offensive Player of the Year, and Ironman of the Year beginning on Thursday, May 8.
The collective fan vote in each category will count as one coach's vote and will be used as a tiebreaker, if necessary, when compiled with the 16 head coaches' votes. Voters will be limited to one choice per category with voting ending on Sunday, May 18.
The ADT Defensive Player of the Year will be announced on June 2, the Offensive Player of the Year on June 3, and the Ironman of the Year on June 4.
