This Friday, Kids Eat Free!
The Whitecaps Men wrap up their 2004 regular season this Friday, August 27th. Game time is 7:00pm at Swangard Stadium. Friday is Fan Appreciation Night with great giveaways all night long. The first 500 kids age 12 and under will receive a FREE hot dog, and the first 1,000 fans will receive a Whitecaps team poster! Plus, two lucky fans will win a trip for two to Edmonton to watch Canada take on Honduras in World Cup Qualifying.
A-League Playoff Update
The A-League season finishes this Sunday, August 29th and the Whitecaps are in the hunt for a playoff spot. The team could clinch a spot depending on the result of a game being played on Thursday in Calgary between the Calgary Mustangs and Milwaukee Wave United. If Milwaukee either ties or loses the match the Whitecaps automatically clinch a playoff spot. Should Milwaukee win, the Whitecaps can clinch on Friday night with a win or tie vs. the Wave!
