The Fort Wayne Freedom announced today the return of stand out wide receiver Jeremy Dutcher to the team. Dutcher was with the Freedom during their inaugural season. He led the team with 67 catches for 963 yards and 30 touchdowns. Three times during the 2003 season, Dutcher had 3 touchdown receptions in a game. He received All-Atlantic Conference and All-Eastern Division honors.
Dutcher was part of the Grand Rapids Rampage in 2005. During the season he had 25 catches that led to 10 touchdowns. He was third on the team with 633 receiving yards.
"Dutcher has been one of our many fan favorites whether he was playing for us or coming back to watch a game," said Head Coach Matt Land. "He has great athleticism and knowledge of the game. We are very excited to have him back with the Freedom."
The Freedom home opener is this Sunday, March 20th against the Ohio Valley Greyhounds. Kick off is set for 4PM. Game day tickets are available at the Coliseum Ticket Office or by calling Ticketmaster at (260) 424-1811.
