Express to Take on Florida in Two Preseason Matchups

Hoffman Estates, IL - The Chicago Express, proud member of the ECHL and proud affiliate of the NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets, will battle the Florida Everblades in a pair tune-up contests leading up the inaugural season for the Chicago Express.
The Express will travel to Estero, Florida, to battle the Florida Everblades on Friday, October 8, and Saturday, October 9. Friday's game will begin at 6:3 pm, and the puck drops at 6:05 pm on Saturday. The two games are exhibition contests, and will not count towards the regular season standings and statistics. The trip to Florida will mark the entirety of the Express preseason schedule, and will be used as an opportunity for the team to develop some on-ice chemistry before the start of the season.
"We really appreciate Everblades President/GM Craig Brush inviting us to Florida for the games," Express President Craig Drecktrah stated. "It's a great opportunity for the club to evaluate our talent against a very good ECHL organization."
The Chicago Express will open up the home portion of their schedule on Saturday, October 22nd versus the Kalamazoo Wings with a 7:30 p.m. face-off at the Sears Centre Arena. This inaugural game is sure to be a must have ticket, so make sure you have your ticket for this once in a lifetime game!
