Jersey Express News Release

Newark, NJ - The Newark Express will be accepting applications for the vacant Head coaching position immediately. Candidates must have a proven track record at either the professional or college ranks. In this generation X era that we live in, it's important that we find a coach that can continue the work that we've started.

Since our inaugural season in 2005, we have been able to provide instruction and opportunities to many of the players that have worn the Newark Express Jersey. We have been instrumental in sending in excess of eight (8) former players overseas. They not only have the opportunity to earn lucrative contracts, but also to travel abroad.

"Our goal for the upcoming season is to develop a program that not only continues to cultivate talent and provide opportunities, but to be able to do so without missing a beat on the court. We take pride in our ability to find opportunities for our players and to do what we say we're going to do" stated Co-owner Marsha Blount.

On June 9th, we will be holding an open try-out for the upcoming 2007-2008 season, at the PAL in Parsippany, NJ. Prior to the try-out, we will be scheduling a Press Conference to introduce the new Head Coach, along with several new partners and sponsors.

Interested candidates who are interested in an opportunity to coach in the "fastest growing professional sports league in the world" can forward their cover letter and resume to info@newarkexpress.com. Verifiable references must be submitted.
