Express Employment Professionals To Sponsor Tourists Baseball Network

ASHEVILLE - For the first time in the team's 84-year history, every Asheville Tourists game will be broadcast on over the air radio. Now, thanks to Express Employment Professionals, that broadcast has a name.
Fans listening to games on flagship station WRES 100.7-FM and online at www.theashevilletourists.com will be listening to games broadcast on the Express Employment Professionals Tourists Baseball Network. New Tourists voice Jay Burnham is eager to work with Express Employment Professionals.
"We're very excited about this partnership and we look forward to having Express Employment Professionals be the charter sponsor on the Tourists radio network," said Jay Burnham, radio voice of the Asheville Tourists.
Burnham will be in his first year with the Tourists and will be joined in the broadcast booth by fellow first-year Tourists broadcaster Eric Little. Much like the broadcasters, Express Employment Professionals owner Gary Gallagher anticipates the pairing of his business with the Tourists.
"Baseball's a lot like our business," said Gallagher. "We're bringing the talent to the field and we want to coach them to success."
This partnership between Express Employment Professionals and the Tourists is one that Gallagher had eyed for some time.
"We've looked at involvement with the Tourists for a long time and now is the right time for this sort of partnership," he said. "We like what the Tourists stand for."
The games will include both a 15-minute pre-game show and a short post-game show. Games will be broadcast over the air on flagship station WRES, 100.7-FM and online at the team's official website - www.theashevilletourists.com - and on the official WRES website - www.wresfm.com.
