Two addition games are scheduled for this evening.

The second weekend of IFL football kicked off Friday evening as the defending United Bowl Champion Billings Outlaws were on the road against the Colorado Ice. The Ice leaned on a powerful rushing game in the wake of an injury to starting QB Oliver Bozeman. RB Bobby Purify gained 89 yards on 15 attempts with 3 TD's. Next the Outlaws will host the Tri-Cities Fever on March 14th while the Ice will travel to face the Wichita Wild on March 20th.

The West Texas Roughnecks snapped a four game losing streak against the host Abilene Ruff Riders 36-33 in an exciting Lonestar West Division showdown. The Ruff Riders went into halftime with a 30-13 lead but the Roughnecks countered with an impressive second half rally for the victory. The turning point in the game came with 1:52 left in the 4th quarter as Abilene was lining up for a field to extend it's 33-29 lead. The Roughnecks burst through the line and blocked the attempt which was then recovered by LB Eric Henri in the end zone to put the Roughnecks ahead for good. The Roughnecks will host the Amarillo Venom March 13th and the Ruff Riders will host the San Angelo Stampede Express March 20th.

The expansion Richmond Revolution stormed on to the IFL scene with a 49-37 victory over the Bloomington Extreme. QB Bryan Randall turned in a strong performance going 13-23 for 240 yards and 7 TD's. On March 13th both teams will be on the road as the Blizzard will travel to face the Bloomington Extreme and the Bandits will travel to take on the Omaha Beef.
