Everything You Need to Know About Returning to the Stands at Torero Stadium

As we count down to the 2021 Home Opener on May 29th, we are excited to share with you our plans for our return to Torero Stadium this season!

For most, it's not a stretch to say sports and the camaraderie it provides gives people a purpose in life. 2020 was devastating to the entertainment and sports industry and those that crave it. After a long year inside, and as California sets up for a full reopen, SD Loyal is committed to bringing an exceptional, safe and entertaining experience.

Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, we will be limiting the attendance for the first two home matches on May 29 and June 12 exclusively to our Season Ticket Members and Partners. We are honored to have received such incredible support from these groups as we have navigated our way through the last year and are so happy that we will have the opportunity once again to finally see them all in person under the lights at Torero Stadium.

Thanks to the incredible work by our community leaders, healthcare workers and residents, the situation with COVID-19 in San Diego County has been the gold standard for how a community can rally together for the common good. With vaccinations rates increasing rapidly while case rates and hospitalizations are stabilizing, the State of California recently announced the Beyond the Blueprint plan, which will take effect on June 15. This means that we will be able to open the stadium to all fans for the first time this season for the June 19 match vs. Phoenix Rising FC. We are working closely with San Diego County and the University of San Diego to ensure all health protocols are in place as fan safety is our first priority. As a club we are planning on opening to full capacity of 6,100 seats following the reopening as long as things keep progressing well.

We couldn't think of a more appropriate date to fully reopen as June 19 marks the 2-year anniversary of the launch of San Diego Loyal. We are planning for this game to be a celebration of San Diego and what it means to be a part of this extraordinary community we are all so lucky to call home. "619 Day" will be a celebration of our great region featuring plenty of festivities, live music, giveaways, and more importantly, a return to our fans.

Single game tickets for the 2021 Season will be available to the general public starting on Wednesday, May 19th at 10 a.m.

- Current Season Ticket Members & Partners will have early access to single game tickets starting on Monday, May 17th at 10 a.m.

- A presale for SD Loyal newsletter subscribers will begin on Tuesday, May 18th at 10 a.m.
