Everblades' Hutchings Recalled to Norfolk

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades President and General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Greg Poss announced today that forward Alex Hutchings has been recalled to the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League.
Hutchings heads to Norfolk after finishing up his rookie season with the Everblades by posting 26 points (13g, 13a) in 51 regular season games and adding three points (1g, 2a) in four Kelly Cup playoff games. The 20-year-old Burlington, Ontario native did appear in one game with Norfolk this season, making his professional debut on October 9 at the Binghamton Senators.
Prior to joining the pro ranks this season Hutchings had a four-year major junior career with the Barrie Colts from 2006-10. In 229 career games with Barrie the 4th round draft pick by the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2009 tallied 208 points.
