ESTERO, FL - The Florida Everblades are proud to announce that the team donated $142,325 to local charities during the 2014-15 season.
In addition, the Everblades also donated more than 300 gift packs to local charities and non-profit organizations during the season which were used for raffles and auctions to help raise additional money for charitable causes.
The Everblades in conjunction with many of their business partners donated 4,822 tickets to local charities and non-profits through the 'Blades Backers program.
In December, the team once again collected more than 7,000 teddy bears in the annual IBERIABANK Teddy Bear Toss game. The teddy bears and stuffed animals were distributed to local children's charities for the holidays.

Everblades players made many visits in the community which included several stops at local schools, the Golisano Children's Hospital, the Gulf Coast Humane Society, and many more.
"Giving back to the community has always been a priority for our team, and this past season was no different," said Everblades Vice President of Sales & Marketing Chris Palin. "We significantly increased our cash, tickets, and gift pack donations this year. It's our way of giving back to the community that supports us each year."
