Evansville BlueCats 2007 to Hold Open Tryouts

EVANSVILLE, IN: The Evansville BlueCats are pleased to announce open player tryouts for the 2007 indoor football season. Tryouts will take place on Saturday, January 6th, from 8-11am. You must be at least 19 years old to try out. Both tryouts will be held at the Metro Sports Center located off Virginia Avenue behind Nagasaki Inn on Evansville's east side. The address is 5820 Metro Center Drive.
The tryout fee is $40 in advance or $50 on the morning of the tryout. The tryout fee can be paid by cash or money order. Players wanting to pay with a debit or credit card MUST pre-register and pay the $40 fee prior to the tryout date at the BlueCats office located at 815 John Street Suite 150 near downtown Evansville. The BlueCats office is open weekdays from 9am-5pm. Only cash or money orders will be accepted on the morning of the tryout at Metro Sports Center. All players wishing to pre-register must do so at the BlueCats office.
Registration and check-in on Saturday, January 6th, will begin at 8am. Starting at 9am all participants will be tested in the 10-yard dash, 40-yard dash, pro shuttle, vertical jump, position specific evaluations and will be weighed and measured.
Player's need to bring turf or tennis shoes, as well as workout clothes (shorts, t-shirts, etc).
Any players who have video of themselves are encouraged to bring it to the office before tryouts or bring it with them to they tryout.

Season tickets for the 2007 Evansville BlueCats are on sale now. Get your tickets early to reserve your seat for next season. All team merchandise and apparel is on sale for 50% at Evansville BlueCats office for all 2007 season ticket holders. For ticket information or to purchase 2007 tickets, call the season ticket hotline at (812) 437-CATS or stop by the BlueCats office to pick your seat in person.
