Erie BayHawks Dance Team to Perform in China

Erie, Pennsylvania, Wednesday, September 30, 2015 - The Erie BayHawks Dance Team is set to perform throughout China from October 4 to 22 as part of an exhibition tour sponsored by China Hoops Sports. China Hoops is a renowned organization known for promoting community ideals through the game of basketball. China Hoops travels to various provinces to initiate a five-day program focused on developing skills and preserving the game of basketball.
The intensive five-day program culminates in an exhibition game in which a China Hoops team competes against the program attendees. The BayHawks Dance Team will be cheering on both squads during these exhibition games. The following day, the program participants will compete against each other in an all-day 3-on-3 tournament. The BayHawks Dance Team will perform throughout this day, as well.
"We'll be dancing up to twelve times a game," said Head Dance Coach Holly Anderson. "We're there to provide the in-game entertainment for a total of twelve games during the tournaments. We're excited to represent the BayHawks on an international stage!" she added.
